Andrea Scott
Since Rose has retired, Andrea is now the hub of all our cheese maturing. She organises the plasticoating of all the Loosehanger range of cheese and pierces the various Blue cheeses on-time and ensures that Gwyn doesn't try and sell them too soon.
She also turns, with help, every one of the 1,200 cheeses every single day of the year.
We are looking for an assistant for her as it's definitely easier and more sociable with 2.
Rhob, Richard, Jean, Mandy & Tony
Listed in order of joining us.
Rhob, is a wonderful asset, doing most of our direct deliveries, assisting with cheesemaking -especially his speciality the blue cheeses - leaving Gwyn free(er)to run around like a headless chicken and do all the paperwork.
Richard has been with us since April 2009 and actually does most of the cheesemaking which leaves Ness free to get up at 04:00 to put the milk on and still be here at 23:00 stroking and tweaking the cheeses to her satisfaction.
Tony is our chief milk-collector. Trundling up & down the M3 with our Ayrshire cows milk 2 or 3 times a week with Rose riding shotgun.
The girls are invaluable in helping the 3 originals maintain their sanity (and they're not doing a very good job of it).
They assist in all those essential unsung jobs that cheesemaking generates in spades:-
plasticoating, turning, piercing, cheesemaking, packing, labelling, and the neverending spiral of WASHING UP!!!

Ness & Gwyn
We're supposed to be in control.
Ness is the brains behind all the cheeses and supervises all the cheesemaking.
Gwyn (or Cheeseygwyn) is the gopher, collecting the milk, attending the majority of markets, answering the phone and doing what he's told.
